Such a nice bike too,, try doing an online insurance quote for a R6 and add a few years to your age to see what it might cost if you wait a year or two, with a couple of no claims i think you might save a mint!!! Your best off making the mistakes on the SV rather than a pocket emptying R6!!
Don't give up the SV yet ![]()

I know what you're saying Rich.. and I have changed my mind!
Getting CBR600RR now! Took one out on sat and loved it, it's exactly what I want in a bike. When I got back on the SV it felt too big, heavy and nowhere near as involving.. I see you share my feelings on the CBR! Seriously the SV is a great bike and i'm very attached to mine since I did some mods myself but it's not the bike for me. I should have ridden a few before buying really. |

I've found a new bike so i'd take £3200 for mine while this other bike is still available... Feels like i'm giving it away

It's a lovely bike mate but for 800 more a brand new one can be bought on 0% percent finance. I know you modded it and it looks swell but mods never normally increase the value of anything. (Just sold my car and feel i've been robbed but hey..)
good luck with the sale though. ![]() |

Don't make me feel any worse!!
A new one on the road with all the extras mine has costs around £5k.. So thats nearly a £2k saving and it's in a better colour! ( in my opinion! ![]() Mine is already run in aswell! |

Sorry mate, but as said, extras dont add value to second hand bikes.
Why do you think Marcdbl stripped his K3 down and sold it all off separate, Simple Simon did the same. If I was looking to buy an SV I would do what I did all over again, go for the new one on 0% rather than a second hand one with a few miles on it. Or buy a really cheap £1500 one - but for the sake of a grand, I would buy new, as would many other people I think. Bad news I fear, but its how I see it. |

Well I would pay extra for one that had all the bits I wanted.. there must be more like me out there!
For what it's worth , I'm not saying I think it's worth more with mods.. I reckon it's worth £3200 as standard or with the extra bits.. For £3200 it's a good deal for someone. Not everyone wants to be paying for their bike on finance for the next 3 years, interest free or not. Can't go any lower than £3200, i'd cry! ![]() |

Lol! I nearly did when i sold my car!
![]() You're right, there is someone out looking for your bike and will pay what you ask. My advice is to re-list on ebay and have a low starting offer but reserve it at 3k. You will hopefully get a few people hooked on it and they will outbid for it and you will get what you need. Works for me most times! ![]() |
