Yep, I agree with K. You'll never find a date that suits everyone, so go with the best date for you, and those who can make it, will. There'll be plenty of other chances for those who can't do this one, I'm sure.

Yep you're right Davy, looks like Saturday the 7th of July then. Will keep you posted. Just need to pop to Peterborough to check out some roads.

7th July is that - sounds good to me.

The A47 from Peterborough to Leicester is quite a nice bit of road (perhaps too wide and straight for some but that's helpful if you've a group with peeps that aren't so confident about overtaking). There are camera's but I *think* they are all in the speed limit zones - which of course we'd be observing.

I'm not sure about anything else round there - but if you wanted some company reccying one evening drop me a PM.

If you're going to be recce-ing the A47, drop onto the A6003 to Uppingham, then take the B664 to Market Harborough..............that road will put hairs on your chest

I might do the 100 or so miles round the M25 and up the A1 back to Peterborough, if you're doing the roads round Rutland.
