1 Curvy or Pointy? - curvy
2 Height? - 5'11"
3 What make is your DB screen? - Airblade (iridium)
4 Where did the wind hit ya with the original screen (possibly speed)? - right in the chest
5 Where does it hit ya with the DB screen and how comfortable/noisy is it (speed)? - about visor height - fine up to about 80 but then I need to hunker down a bit
6 How is the fit/finish - spot-on on both counts
7 Got any pics? - yup, hang on.....

....*rummage*.....

Has anyone seen a box of Milk Tray lying around....?

I got that shot from this site: http://www.kgcycles.com/serv01.htm

It's under Joe diPuma, he indeed lists it as a Powerbronze Airflow screen. Think it's the same as the one Billy posted earlier. Some people consider it less good because the turbulent wind hits the helmet. Guess it depends on your height and preference. Perhaps it would have been better if it was a bit lower so it took the wind of the chest but not as high as the helmet.

Some of the brands still open:
Ermax
Gravity Zero
Puig (Curvy)
MDI
MRA
Nuvo

PS. I like the shape of the airblade one as well, don't seem to offer a clear one though, only light smoked, dark smoked and iridium.

The wind is now hitting my upper body and up (6'2). If I understand correctly you either want the wind to go over your helmet, which will be increasingly difficult with increasing height and depending on the make of the DB screen or you want it to hit just below your helmet. (Please correct me if I'm wrong here). As far as looks go I probably prefer the Powerbronze for now.

So to get a better picture of what each screens does to each rider I would like start a DB screen thread where everyone lists all relevant information:

1 Curvy or Pointy?
2 Height? (6'2 here)
3 What make is your DB screen?
4 Where did the wind hit ya with the original screen (possibly speed)?
5 Where does it hit ya with the DB screen and how comfortable/noisy is it (speed)?
6 How is the fit/finish
7 Got any pics?

P.S. I know there are a lot of DB threads, but since not everyone gives all information it's very hard to estimate what screen is best for what rider.
No screen will throw air over you at 6'2" I know cuase thats what i am. However, i found that the powerbronze that i had fitted to my sv for a while (Until i stuck my foot through it during an off) worked a lot better. F.Fabbri screens have the same sort of bubble.

I have had a Puig, Airbladex2(still have them, but lugs broken off), std(current screen) & Powerbronze. Out of all of them, the Powerbronze was the best at the job. Hope this helps?

No screen as in a DB screen, a touring (flip up) screen might do the trick? Not that I'm looking for a touring screen, but just to be clear to other users looking for screens.

Yes, very helpful, thank you very much.

Since I have one my self now I will add mine as well:

1 Curvy or Pointy? Curvy.

2 Height? 6'2 here

3 What make is your DB screen? Powerbronze

4 Where did the wind hit ya with the original screen (possibly speed)? Wind hit me on the chest.

5 Where does it hit ya with the DB screen and how comfortable/noisy is it (speed)? Now it hit's me just at the bottom of my helmet, chest is free of wind, arms still catch some wind but with my new tighter leather jacket that will be better as well. It's very comfortable now till about 70mph, above that turbulence gets a bit wilder, but still more comfortable than original. A touring screen is more comfortable for long motorways trips, but it's still okay.

6 How is the fit/finish? Excellent. Mine is light smoke which looks very good on my yellow/black bike in my view.

7 Got any pics?
