Guess I'm just paranoid about all these cameras everywhere and what they are actually used for.

Any chance they use these cars for armed responce as well, I could see the advantages of people not be able to see 4 armed police inside?

BMWs make Renaults? or Renaults make BMWs? I'm confused.

What do you think an armed policeman looks like?
In a car (s)he's going to look totally normal (as long as they take the dagger out their teeth)

armed response officers in avon and somerset get a cool black t shirt and cargo trousers with a much more ladened body amour. they deffo look the part and the glock at the hip/thigh also gives it away.

they do drive the x5's but also other units, i know we have unmarked armed cars....not saying what though....kinda can put them in danger in some situations...

anyway...i have productive things to do...it think...

There was an unmarked V70 Estate on the A3 this morning. It had solid black tinted windows (all windows rear of the B pillar) Never seen that before. (It may not have been Traffic, but it was definitely police)

Actually top marks to the Saab driver who waved me down before I overtook him to warn me there was police ahead in a Volvo - But why do people think all motorcyclists ride like a bat out of hell?
Seen a couple of cars around my area that are unmarked with Rear tints. One of which is a Passat estate!

My dad was pulled the other day by a police bike, With Numberplate recognition equipment onboard.
Asked him if he was driving without a licence (my dad has been driving 30 years, Advanced licence, been a driving instructor) The officer said "it must have been the previous owner, Or the camera got a digit wrong". Is it me or does that last one reaaally inspire confidence....
