Well I'm a Rossi "leg humper"(not literally )but also a big Stoner fan.I recognise and respect true talent when I see it and both of these fit the bill.
Rossi's record speaks for itself, and Stoner is showing the potential to be even better.Good on both of em.
As for the booing,we all know thes brainless ****s exist,so best just ignore them.

Personally I think this is pretty disgusting way to behave.

I'm getting tired of the Rossi fans who only follow Rossi and have no interest in any of the other classes or other riders.
As motorcycle racing gets ever more popular, it begins to attract those fans who also cause upsets at other sporting events.

I, for one, enjoy casey winning. He reminds me of Doohan in some strange way (not just because he;s an aussie). I suspect that alot of rossi fans get confused when he dosnt actualy win, since rossi is the only rider they know of.

I imagine the fact that Casey could match a record set by the GREAT Agfostini in 1972 if he wins in Assen(rider with 3 or more succesive wins in one season)

If he beats Rossi this weekend he would be only the second rider,(after Rossi) of achieving 3 consecutive wins since Alex Criville did it in the top clas in 1999.

An additional fantastic achievement could be made by Ducati who could achieve 3 or more wins in the same season This has not been achieved by a european factory since MV Agusta did it in 1973/74 but then it took both Phil Read and Ago to do it.

A cottage industry factory taking on and beating out of sight mammoth companies like Honda for me has a real ring of romance to it.

But those yobs at Donington have their heads so far up Rossi¡s a*s they cannot appreciate what is going on around them.
I love racing statistics

That is really disgusting behaviour.

I hope it doesnt continue as no rider deserves to be booed! Id like to see those who boo try and ride a bike as good as stoner! To be honest, Rossi winning all the time is just boring, its good to see some real competition at last (although I must admit I wanted colin edwards to win last week and was rather upset stoner pipped him to it)

, the lot of 'em. I guess they'll be happy when they remove Donington from the calendar.

can't believe stoner's had this sort of attention, as he hasn't really done anything to justify it - he's not a whiner like Biaggi (was), he doesn't pull dangerous moves, etc

personally i really like to see a young rider come onto the scene and give Rossi a run for his money. and you can't deny stoner's ability - he hasn't made any mistakes on track this year and is just about the only person who seems to be immune to Rossi's mind games!
