Depends on what opportunities you have I suppose. Being a lazy bum student (though just graduated), an average rideout for me from Durham would be 200-300 miles. Put new tyres on at a service a few weeks back and had done 2500 in a week, just pleasure mileage around the north of England. My bank balance is complaining about the amount of cash spent on petrol though!

Oh, and my bike rarely doesn't look like that though it's just got a full clean and will have some autosol love when I am bored enough to find the downpipe interesting for hours at a time

I said on the AR that I'd washed it maybe twice (one of those was a jet wash - messed with the alarm something stupid). That's in around 23,000miles.
