Been searching on here for the post "where the dog teeth on one of the guys gears sheared off but i will be blowed if i can find it.

had a lot of pictures and his corespondance with yamaha on the matter

Been very very busy at work of late, so getting home having a beer and relaxing...
Will strip engine at weekend, and post then. with pics.
Hopefully as WRC63 says it might be something simple... touch cloth... sorry wood...

Well started the strip down.
got as far as both cylinder's and pistons off.
So will have to get her cracked open soon....
Friday is my summer leave, so Should have a pretty good idea...
Everything so far looks fine. no wear on the shims or cams, the bores looks fine as you can still see the honne marks in the bore.
wrapping every thing in clean rags as we go, as well as taking photos.
more updates later... when we find something amiss...
