There's a few different ways as far as I can tell, I was lucky enough to buy a bike with a PC III already fitted (badly). I'm pretty sure there are other methods other than Power Commanders to change your Map. Might be worth asking a few of the Mini Twin guys on here......
It's still a very lovely can though - very jealous! |

fit my new can last night what a difference only 5 more horses feels like at least 10 from the OEM can its excectly the same one as on the pic on page 1 of this thred, after i sawd the OEM can off i thought id start her up and blow any bits of fileings out SH!T it sounded like a dragster and blew the fibre glass out of the end. the new can has an alan key at the baffle for track days and it just slips out its only atube of 5" which is pinched in the middle, love the deep rumble if youve still got an OEM can get it sawn off i can see why most people do now. got check the plugs tonight to make sure it hasnt changed the mix

from what I've heard from people with full systems is that sticking with the original air filter results in more air flow than aftermarket air filters for some reason.
Seeing as its only the end can I wouldn't have thought that getting the bike dynoed/changing fuelling is necessary. There are loads of people on here with end cans and everything else standard and I haven't heard of any problems. good luck bud ![]() |
