It gets easier in time as they all said.
Naked keeps you honest in my opinion, I've been on a mates gixxer and didnt realise I was, ahem, breaking the national speed limit because it was nice and cosy toast.... Give it a couple of months and you'll have arms like this and wonder what all the fuss is about...... ![]() |

Yes, you'll grow muscles in your neck. I'm not joking, you'll feel them, my collars stopped fitting.
Also, stop pulling against it and relax, you'll settle into a comfortable pose with the wind holding your body and head up. Less strain on the body. |

KEEP NAKEDS NAKED!!!!!
![]() Better start saving for some new shirts as they will not fit in a month or so. You will also be able to impress your mates with your new found forearm strength with application of the Vulcan Death Grip ![]() If it still bothers you after a while, change your bars to Renthal Streetfighters or similar which will bring you more over the front wheel (more leant forward and more feel from the front tyre) Anywayz, bask in the fact you are comfier, don't look as stupid and are having more fun. ![]() |

After a while you just get a huge neck. Or you're head comes off.

Well done on choosing the naked. Really easy to lift that front wheel isn't it? You will soon get used to that wind, but I cant really maintain speeds over 90 for more than a few minutes, which I think is a good thing! Like others have said a good helmet makes a big difference, as do earplugs. I am saving for a schuberth, as they are reckoned to be quiet and pretty aerodynamic.
