Whats wrong with using warm water with a little bit of washing up liquid in it? I tell my CBT students to use a damp towel, drape it across your visor for about 5 mins, take it off & the flies etc just come straight off with a quick wipe. Damn sight cheaper than all of this other garbage out there and works just as well.

I got given it as a present in an auto glym pack, so i decided to use it. As it said Visor Cleaner i assumed, stupid old me that it was safe to use.

Sorry to har that.

I have used it on my HJC helmet for a couple of years with no ill affects.

But i have to say normal glass cleaner or warm water and a soft cloth does the job as well.

I'm not sure if it was 2 or 3 years ago that Autoglym was taking Arai to court for telling people specifically not to use visor cleaner in general but specifically the autoglym as it reacts with the adhesives used for the vents and affects the plastic/rubber seals. I remember this as I'd just bought a big bottle and was using it on my Quantum F - and the mouth piece did fall out. I don't think it affects other makes due to the adhesive compounds. If you send it back to Arai don't say you used cleaner and they will normally replace free of charge.

I only use mild hand soap and water if really dirty but if I'm out the V spong and soft blue cloth supplied is the best thing ever
