No, change the looks while he's out, then re-arrange the number and ask a stranger to come over to open the door if he knocks.

Northy,

I've now been sitting here for a good 5 mins thinking of somthing to say regarding such blatent blasphemy.

And to be completley honest i'm stuck for words, speachless even.

The poor luthier who made that guitar probably poured his heart and soul into making that fine instrument, wore his knuckles to the bone sculpting its fine contours.
Skillfully crafting a finely tuned precise instrument of music, and for what?... to be thoughtlessly tossed into a simple campfire with no regard what so ever.

But then I think, hey it's a post-CBS Fender and it probably only took an hour to make anyway, so WOO, YAY!!!!!...

Ah, no, there was plenty of regard involved, it was thoroughly planned out It was an MA-1 (they used to be branded Fender not Squier), I found it on sale for £20 in a local shop with a really ropey neck break repair- and it was one of the rubbish korean 3/4 size ones that sounded like a biscuit tin with rubber bands on too, about £90 new. When I told them I just wanted something rubbish to take to Reading, and not bother bringing back, they gave me it for a pound.

So, I restrung it, instantly increasing its cost by 700%, and we took it with us, in a binbag. It was terrible, almost unplayable, but it attracted all sorts of interesting oddballs. Then, on the last night, we broke it over my head and then burned it. Far too good an end for such an appalling piece of rubbish.

It turned out to be a bit tougher than we thought though, and cut my head open- I had a job interview, for the job I have now, 2 days later and I still had a big l-shaped cut right in the middle of my forehead. "Bumped it on a shelf".
