It is not a theory...it is a fact. I love this stuff and read many books and films both for and against and not a single hoax theory stands up...not a single one.

NASA earned my eternal respect when they said "Yes, some of the photos weren't very good, so we doctored them". But years later the tinfoil hats are still banging on about black crosses on the lenses, etc etc. Personally, I would say that the number of pieces of "evidence" brought forward actually point to it all being true, the reason being, if it were actually faked they would probably have done a better job of it, that was a government with a history of lying very effectively.

No need to trick the russans. There moon rocket exploded on the pad, whiping out the cosomodrome and killing a lot of people.

And besides, the Russians had the capacity to observe the moon shots- in fact, you could see the apollo flights with the naked eye in the right circumstances. It was possible to see the orbiter with and without the lander, and later with the ascent stage, with a suitably powerful telescope. How do you fake that?

"It will be proved when the Chinese get to Tranquility Base in a year or two grab the flag and flog it on E-bay"
