Shocking news, as has been said I'd never spoke to Reeder let alone met him but reading his comments used to make me laugh.

It was merely a suggestion, I think it would be a celebration rather than an extension of grief.

Anyway. Obviously not one of my better suggestions then.

+1

It wasnt suposed to be a critisim lou I honestly apprechiated the sentement its a lovely gesture.
I picked up on the magenta initials but if I were to attend an event and this was mentioned in anything more than passing conversation it would bring back this raw emotion and i honestly dont think I can handle that and then jump on a bike and ride about.
Doubtless there are people like yourself who would like a minutes silence or a minutes applause but doubtless there are also people like me who'd just mourn and celebrate him now, and to regenerate those emotions in a few months time wouldnt do them any favours.

Jeez if he could read this now, he'd be calling me such a puff. Forums not going to be the same.

I just received a phone call from my mate, our five person syndicate got 5 numbers on the lottery. Normally I'd be leaping about winning £2k between us, but today that's not going to happen. Instead I'm going to donate some of my win to the Air Ambulance Service who came out to Reeder yesterday as a thank you to them for what they did.

I will miss the random thoughts and pictures he'd add to threads. A great eccentric and a sad loss to us all.
