If I had that kind of attitude with my good lady then I would be sleeping on the sofa for a month ! Need to get permission tonight for tomorrows festivities!

I could be up for this let me know when & where... last time I was in Henley I ended up lapping the one way system looking for somewher to stop & ended up on the tow path by the river. Very pretty it was too. Would be trundling over after 6ish from Heathrow area...

i am usually a good boy and give in to her random requests, but when she tries to stop me going biking...thats one step to far. Punishment is I remove the pillion seat and foot pegs for a week - that normally sorts her out . May have to compromise tomorrow and bring her along.

I'm west london based but a ride out on real roads without black cabs and traffic lights sounds fabulous... if you get it going and want to invite us towneys, i'd be "in"
best of luck

I'd second the flowing spring

I think the general consensus was for the 7th..
I'd happily do next tuesday, too though.

Yeah yeah I was thinking tomorrow! I am still very up for it, and of course any townies are allowed (actual bikers who live in London, not chavs obviously ). 40plus do I remember you saying you had done your hamstring in and couldn't ride? The flowing Spring looks nice, although I note that it doesn't serve food in the evenings for Tuesday. I could always get a take-away or eat at home I suppose. And whoever it was who asked for a postcode for their GPS, the Flowing Spring is RG4 9RB. If that is where we end up meeting.

In summary, everyone come!

Oh... didn't realise they didn't serve food on Tuesdays. We could head out for food, I guess? What time are we thinking of meeting? If we're going to out to eat, I can be there by 7, if I'm eating before I come then 7:30.

What do people think?
