Not a huge Monaro fan, its just a 2 door Commy...

Think the Commadores have a far worse here in Aus, then the Fords do hehe.

Also if your quattro decides to let go then you will get zero warning and you wont know what to do to correct it. You should also be thinking about your passengers!

If your rwd beemer handled like a cow on ice then you're not driving it properly. Driven properly it would p1ss all over your audi (and even my rs6) in the bends. Why do you think 90% of racing cars are RWD? Because they're best for racing/cornering due to the ability to go tighter in the bends. They're also predictable when they do slide.
My wife used to have the same fearless attitude driving our impreza thinking 4wd is the b all and end all and that it would never catch her out until she spun the car. Thing is with 4wd's is they kind of behave like a spring compressing and when it lets go it lets go, i.e. if something unsettles the car like sudden throttle lift off whilst hard cornering then look out because it'll more than likely want to spear off into the nearest hedge.

Is that the sport with 170-180 bhp?

They look great fun, always fancied one myself.

My first car - 1998 Civic 1.5 Vtec (125bhp after a few mods.) It is not a type R, I was 17 at the time (4 years ago) and it seemed the "in" thing to do at the time.

After not driving for 3 months and going too quick into a wet corner:

My second car: Only had it a few weeks but was good fun for £150. It was an 8v Astra GTE.

After crashing the civic, my parents would only allow me to drive one of the slowest cars on the road with no throttle response. Land rover Disco TD5.

It tows well though.

Current car: 1992 Honda Legend 3.2 V6 230bhp(standard)
