That's not unusual round theses parts.
I have a special extra loud headphone penetrating horn for these ****ers.

You can fix stupid....
But it involves hitting it with a big stick til it stops moving.
The authorities frown on this, which is a shame.

A crow or raven's nest in the eves of my roof. They've used a space that the starlings used, I can see where & how they've got in.

I was in the loft & one flew in through a hole that they've made in the felt.

Not sure if they're protected, the starling are for sure.

Once they've flown the nest, the hole is getting fixed.

Don't blame you. I noticed a lot of sparrows sitting on my guttering last year and after watching for a while realised they were going under the tiles. Turns out the builder that re-did my roof a few years back ran out of the comb-like stuff that blocks the mini ridges of my concrete tiles and just left it. Git. Bought some cheap bottle brushes from Wilko and used those. Luckily the felt (OK, its a kind of fabric now) is undamaged so good luck fixing yours and making good the access point.
