for the older ones amongst us that can remember the TV program Weekend World, the theme tune was Mountain - Nantucket Sleighride. for many many years i have been listening to this song and today i woke up with the tune in my head so decided to google it to play on youtube i then came across what the song is about and to my amazement it's about whale fishing and the song title is a reference to what happens when the whale is harpooned, the boat that the whalers are on gets towed by the whale and the name of this is called a Nantucket Sleighride.
