Taz.....rip off merchants, wouldnt go near them!!!
Saw what they had, dont like red and blue, they look too dated and the black is nearly £5k!! Have no choice but to keep the sv......but it could be worse Thanks anyway though hun, looking forward to seeing you again tomorrow |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Some of their bikes are overpriced but some decent stuff too, tbh i've always had excellent service from them (and 3 bikes)

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
I cant remember her name but the girl who does the clothing has always been fantastic and really helpful and interested. She has HUGE dreadlocks and ive always wanted to ask her how she gets a helmet on but never dared ask!!
The young lad who used to work at infinity is in there selling bikes now aswell and hes a really helpful bloke. The really pushy salesman in there who really got up my nose is now over the road at Honda. Anyway, I dont need them because wednesday afternoon im off up t'north to pick up my new baby from doncaster. Its done 12k miles, it has triumph service history to 8k and the dealer is doing the massive 12k service. She is very standard so need some bits to make her REALLY pretty but those'l have to wait cos im mega-skint.........but smiling http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www...01024361158936 |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Im absolutely dreading riding it away from the dealer tomorrow night. There is a really uneven slope up to the entrance and i came so close to dropping the sv when we were up there sunday, and I havent done that for 10 months!!
Then its quite a busy road to get to the A1. Ive been awake since 4 worrying about it Rictus sent me a really lovely mesage explaining how it will be different from the sv, how I WILL ride it having ridden only the sv and how I SHOULD ride it, which will be something completely different Its a baptism of fire though because we've got 7-800 miles around the south-west planned for the weekend so i'd better get a hang of it quickly At least it's got crash bungs fitted!!! |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Just ask the dealer to wheel the bike across the road, so you can get a nice easy pull out then. That's what I would do.
