Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Saw that yesterday, made me chuckle. Today's smile involves me looking a ****. Basically a long day at work, stop off for petrol on the way home. Normally I put the stand down, reset the clock, turn off, fill up, get off. Tonight there's quite a queue. Engines getting a bit warm. Pull up reset clock, turn off, fill up, get off, fall flat on my **** with the bike on my leg. Mucking Fuppet!
Made me chuckle. ****. |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
My 18 month old TomTom rider built up condensation behind the screen, sent it to TomTom for a repair Thursday 01/12/16 expecting not to see it back before christmas (they advise 20 days from receipt). Today 08/12/16 I get a brand new unit in the post! I was expecting them to pull the screen off, let it dry and put the screen back on, not give me a brand new one (not even a factory referb!). It came on the latest map update and as my old one was backed up to MyDrive it ported all my saved locations etc. straight back over! Result!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Yesterday I paid £500 to have a tree cut back from the path behind my house. It's not actually on my land but it was blocking out a lot of light as it was an ash tree. My next door neighbours just popped round and thanked me and handed me £100 towards it as it was in their way as well. Very kind of them as they were under no obligation to do this.

The Monkey is home from uni for Christmas via Dad's Taxi (me) and has already gone out for for a drink with her old school mates instead of spending time with us. It's official - we're boring parents!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Seeing my mum in law's face when we walked her into the restaurant where she thought she was having a birthday lunch with her two children and their spouses. To discover 30 members of her family waiting for her. I'm glad when she said she didn't want any fuss made of her 70th that we ignored her.

Driving to work, I saw a little tubby bloke, white hair, white beard and a santa hat
Just as 'Santa Claus is coming to town' is playing on the car stereo, wish I'd had a dash cam to capture the moment

It's -7 out with the wind blowing.
Forecast is for -10 by morning. What a great night to sit by the fire and enjoy a few tropical drinks whilest listening to some tunes and surfing the internet. This was going to be my 'gripe of the day' but turned into a nice cozy relaxing evening.
