Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
One of my team who died suddenly without warning 4 years ago, he was only 36. We always invite his girlfriend on our team xmas meal, she told us that she'd got a new boyfriend. Nice to see some happiness returning to peoples lives.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
The Org Christmas party coincided with my birthday. I don't usually do much to celebrate it but this time I had a really lovely evening with everyone, and a combined Christmas and birthday celebration meant I could indulge in home made mince pies and surprise birthday cake!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Took my nephews to London yesterday. A nice lunch at Bill's, which is a first as it means I've finally convinced the younger one that eating establishments other than McDonald's exist. Then on to the James Bond exhibition at the Museum of Film to see all the vehicles from the films. A hot chocolate while watching the sun set on the Thames as Big Ben struck four and a bus ride past St Paul's and through the City to see the Gherkin. A great way to spend the first day of their school holiday.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Haha Putting my Christmas Spirit to the test.
An old friend who suffers from diabetes, kidney transplant, both legs amputated and legally blind, called last night and asked if I would do some Christmas shopping for her today. The widow of a close biker friend who died in a crash of course i said yes! So I'm off to the busiest store within 75 miles of here to shop on Christmas Eve. Normally this would be my worst nightmare but today I am glad to have the opportunity to help someone else. That's what makes Christmas special.
