Yep 182PS.

Great handling but the NA engine can be tiresome if you're not in the mood.
There's nothing below 5k rpm, so if you're in the wrong gear you have to wait for the power. When you do Rev it out it feels like it's going to explode . IF you're in the zone on track or a good B road it really is an amazing package. There is a trophy version with uprated suspension.

We've had a few of the common niggles (burst dampers, suspension mount needed replacing under warranty, rattling heat shield) but it's been reliable and has generally taken the miles well.

We'll keep it forever... but i need something with a turbo to scratch that itch... at some point before I get an estate so I can get my dog. (oh and i need a superduke and a gsxr-750 so not sure how i'm going to fit it all in the garage )

Sounds like you need an Imprezza or Legacy estate for dog + turbo, unfortunately I've just sold mine

Yes 182 with cup suspension and spoiler. The colour is limited edition only 70 in the country! (fortunately the 1st owner took a big hit in the wallet for that)

There's some great cars tucked away on this forum, good thread!

I saw that, and have heard good things about them. Bit of a Q car, which appeals!

Have been keeping an eye on impreza sport wagon sheds to use as a winter hack. Slightly wary of getting a real dog of a wrx for £1500... But the 2.0 GL might be pretty bombproof so ok at that price. (couldn't get more than £1.5k past the mrs). Something in me is also saying Porsche 924 or original scirocco, perhaps even corrado for an interesting shed to run about in. Then there's a mk1 mx5 (eunos with LSD) to do the roadster thing.

So much choice- wish I hadn't started thinking about this again!

My first love (after the wife and kids of course! ), It hasn't moved since July, mainly because of using the bike, crashing the bike, breaking my leg and being unable to push the clutch pedal, so the battery is flat now but...

In the stanford vw show 2006....

After a clean (takes f*ckin agaes!, have to dust the worktops and beat the curtains. proper waste of biking time!)...

Pitched up...

And the kiddy carrier for mrs DF!... (bit boring but very safe)

DF, nice Transporter. Id love one of them for camping!

i might be taking ownership of a 1997 1.2 RL Clio. I know you're all really excited by this but for £300, could be the perfect winter beater.
