Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
My sock drawer collapsed so I took it apart, screwed it all back together then went through and sorted our all the old, worn out, faded, odd and too big for me socks and binned them. Quite cathartic.

Must do it myself one day...Mrs B buys my socks in pairs,I wear them in pairs, she washes them in pairs, but when I want some out of the draw they are singles...think they must have arguments on the washing line !!!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I only wear odd socks so never having a matched pair is a bonus

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I found a dog tonight. The other half came home from work and a chiwawa just followed her through the door! The little guy was so excited that I don't know if he realised he was lost or he was hoping we would help him find his way home!
The cat was not pleased with this bouncing ball of excitement invading her house and promptly shot out and wouldn’t come back in for a few hours (just sat angrily on the door step sulking). He had no collar or tag but he was wearing his harness so I just tied him off with string (not easy as he was super wriggly and was so excited by the ball of string he wanted to play with) to see if I could find his owner. About 10 minutes up the road I found his owner looking for him. Apparently she was just visiting her mum for 5 minutes and the little rascal had escaped out of the cat flap. Made my night, he was so happy and it was good to reunite him quickly too!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Just spending time with my best mate, playing pool and darts but most of all, talking sh!te and having a laugh... Wife's were there and joined in so all is good. What's really nice is its in his house so the beer is cheap and the cake and crisps are even cheaper.
TBH, today has been bloody epic, I spent the daylight hours cycling with a top bloke off here. Then went to play pub games... Yep, there's nothing better than spending time with friends.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
You can't really see it in this pic but this field was absolutely covered in cobwebs. As the sun shone through them they glittered like the whole area was covered in sparkly fairy dust. Walking between two hedges was less fun as I either had to keep trying to get the sticky webs off my face or wave my arms about in front of me like a crazy person.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I've deleted Faceache off my phone... I was getting annoyed with people being idiots, looking for attention, being ignorantly political.
And basically I was addicted to trawling through it... Let's see how long I can last without, reading how stupid people can be.... Only downside is I'll miss the cute videos.
