Actually the SV is still operational too - have foot pump can travel - Could plug it with the puncture repair kit I've got & never used but reluctant to go fishing for the nail as it would require major excavation and making a small hole that aint leaking hideously yet bigger. Could go for tyre glue stuff but the next tyre fitter I go to will hate me.

ummm yes!!

I live 2 doors away from where they started!! amazing sight/sound/smell this morning. I took some pictures from my window, ill up load them soon and start a thread about it. amazing.

It was for 'Dave' who died on the M4 recently. RIP

The air cond man has been for his yearly assault. I now seem to have two settings - "hyperthermia" or "hypothermia"

I had one air conditioning unit, and two portable ones going, still boiling in my lab. Interesting, that.

In the words of my boss we have 'two f**k off big b*****ds' ordered cos the a/c here has given up. The a/c was installed about a month ago at a cost of 40 grand

Anyone enjoy the thunderstorm last night

I was up on flood watch. Where I live (bottom of a hill) is the natural collection point for all the water. If it rains too hard the drains can't handle the volume of water and floods. Normally helped by the drain covers getting covered in foliage.

Last time the water was a cm or two from the front door.
