I slept with the patio doors open and listened to the rain. Was lovely.

It's been hideously hot in town over the last few days and I've been waiting for the rain to cool things down. Finally had thunder around 10pm last night but the rain, such as I saw, was more of a light shower than the torrential storm I'd been led to expect.

Bring on the rain, dagnammit.

Storm whizzed passed where I live and then it rained again at 5:00 in the morning!

It made the ride to work this morning more fun than normal. Slip sliding everywhere.

We had lovely rain in the evening, all refreshing and exciting! Found out my bike cover is NOT waterproof though! Will try NikWaxing it I think. Ride to work this moring was lovely as usual.
