The light leaks are a pain. Especially if it's impossible to work out the source. The Certo sounds weird, to suddenly change half way through. All pics taken at the same time?
Good news about the Konica and satisfying that it's working and producing results after all the work you put into it.

No, a set of pics taken in Scotland then a break in time. Am trying not to place blame too early but I wonder if they opened it up and the film unwound a bit. Normally 120 stays on the reel by itself though, and I always wrap them in foil before sending. I've just put a film in my Pentax K2 that I thought was busted but is (should be!) fine, but the max flash sync speed is 1/125 so might not get far with experiments. Will have to ponder on it, I took picture before using the same approach and they came out just fine.

Off to Madrid for a few days the week after next to see my old man, not quite as far as you guys but will take the K2! Last time I took a film camera I was almost mugged though, near his flat.

Try covering the viewfinder amd shoot blind using the distance scale on the lens. Composition will be a problem but you will see if its getting in that way.

Had a convo with the film processors and with a friend who is a photographer. Need to check the Ikonta for light leaks, could be the corners of the bellows; the spots are in two rows of diffuse dots, in the same place on each pic. The worst one was where I was waiting ages for a combine come come back across a field, so the camera was open for a long time. The others where you can see it I think I was a bit quicker to take pics. Will have to have a look. Grrr. Also tried the Certo shutter again and it's sticking again! Not my day. Might end up putting it to one side for a while and doing something else. It was all speeds below 1/25th so when one part of the escapement is in use, but that could be coincidence - maybe it needs better adjustment as you can adjust the escapement to a point where it interferes. It was snapping away nicely I'm sure, will have a think on it.

How's Vegas? How many Elvii have you seen? I think it took about 4 hours for me to see my first Elvis. After that we were tripping over them - Fat Elvis (moreso than the King himself, shall we say), Black Elvis, Short Elvis, Sideburns Attached To Shades Elvis, etc.

I took the Minolta to the repairer today. He was pretty helpful but basically, just as mystified as me as to where the light was leaking from. He suggested redoing the door hinge foam but using a slightly larger piece to fully cover all the corners so I'll give that a go....but later when I've got more time. Tomorrow is packing day. 11 weeks away and staying in hotels. Washing clothes is my new worry.

Most will have a laundry service so you should be ok. Vegas is awesome, will post more pics up later. Its nearly 12 here and stopped for lunch. Harleys are awesome and the views amazing. Seen one fat Elvis and lots of showgirls with very little on.

Bikes look good!

Think I have cracked the Certo, need to set the timings yet. The cover plate (black one) holds the speed setting ring on, so while I've been snapping the shutter with the cover off, I've been holding the speed ring on with my fingers on the back and front. With mine, the main lever can jump off a bit when you fire it, especially at top speed, so I was holding on to it nice and tight - tight enough to make the shutter blades jam, depending where my fingers were on the back of the case. DOH. So, fingers crossed that's all there is to it (heard this before eh?).

Yeah. Scenery and bikes look brilliant. That's a serious rear tyre on your Harley.
