Ps Hi Bri
Verily did he say unto him, "I am redeemed!" Open house yesterday from lunchtime onwards. Much beer, wine and caramel flavoured vodka has undergone quality control testing.

26* sat on the terrace, overlooking the Med, with the BBQ in full flow... what's not to like

PS, how you doing G

The board-game-mad boyfriend of our daughter is with us for a few days and we dug out a Dr Who interactive game we've not played for years. The Tardis didn't work so we opened up the back and.... oh my, I've never seen batteries so badly corroded! Chris is also an electrical engineer and tried very hard with my soldering iron and a reel of cable we found in the garage but to no avail. We had to make the whooping noises ourselves and you know, after a few drinks, it really didn't matter!

It's a bit quiet in here. How's everyone?

I'm now into my 5th day of recovering from a bug, quite nasty. Super high temperatures, sweat pouring off me during the nights. One minute you feel ok, the next back shivering and sweating.

Everyone has had it in some form, but as I'm older I seem to suffer more?

I hope you feel better soon Mav.

I'm on day 28 of dry Jan. I'm not an alcoholic, but it feels like it's been a long month.

Trudging on, trying to deal with the mess into which my life appears to have temporarily degenerated.

That sounds nasty Mav. You have my sympathy but while sharing is apparently caring, I’d be happy if you kept this one to yourself. GWS though.
