You have much more patience than I.
This bloke needs an untraceable incendiary device made from items common to any household, secretly placed beneath his car's bonnet.
Something that could easily be accomplished in less than 30 mins. (just don't be about when the ignition is switched on)
'Oh look the neighbors car has just erupted into a fireball.'

Default Gripe of the day - What is yours?

I was thinking a few screws placed under his tyres or dog mess over the fence myself.

Sadly he's moving house. Had to sell up because his wife has kicked him out for being a twit.

Cool.

He will probably set up a mail forwarding. Could I subscribe him to tons of junk mail?

Did this to one of the old bosses at work, he thought himself a proper practical joker, one of his "hilarious" pranks was to drop my zippo into my pint of Guiness, so I went through the back of a sunday newspaper and signed him up to adverts for Stannah stairlifts, those baths with a hoist, incontinence trousers, the food delivery people and weight watchers.
Then I nicked his new work telephone and swapped it for a crappy old one from the control desk...

Dog muck should ALWAYS go in the letter box.

Find as much unaddressed junk mail as you can, pizza flyers etc.
insert 300kgs of this through letterbox so he has to clear his hallway with a shovel.
That'll keep him busy a while.
Problem solved.

Car drivers who beep at you as you merge in the traffic after filtering, but not getting to the front before the lights change.
