I assume you are now starting to feel tired and still not getting to sleep I went to the docs who gave me sleeping tablets. It worked to a certain extent in that I managed to get an hour or two instead of the 10-20 minutes I was getting previously. Side effects of that though was bad nightmares and feeling even worse. I gave up the tablets in the end, favouring dozing on and off all night.

I hope you get over it soon. Short term is manageable but intensely frustrating. Long term can really effect your health and mind.

This is nowhere in the same league - but I had a strange virus a while back that stopped me sleeping. It was absolutely horrid so I feel your pain.

I have a guaranteed method for sleeping.

Go to a party, climb 7 trees, set fire to yourself and drink a whole bottle of whisky. Then you will be asleep very easily!

Or a serious option, try to get fresh air and excercise. Hard if you have to keep your heart under 110 bpm!

I did manage 4 hours last night after 15 minutes on the cross trainer and a shower and got to bed before midnight

Good morning everyone! Had a nice weekend? I got rather drunk in London and had the worst hangover I have ever had on Sunday . But feeling better now. Just watched Terra Circa on DVD, getting really pumped up for the Eastern Europe trip now!
