Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Had that happen to me once as well, and she was not happy. By the time I had got back to reception she'd already given them an earful on the phone and my new key and apology was already ready. No upgrade or free drink though... And no she wasn't before you ask Teejay.
This is why I always double lock the door once I'm in a hotel room. Have heard people trying to get in which is not a nice feeling, usually though they're p1ssed and trying the wrong door.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
kitchen chemistry
100% unrefined Shea Butter, 100% unrefined Hemp Oil and 100% Aloe Vera oil mixed up together makes a superb hand cream (wax). Mrs B had really badly chapped and dry hands and one application this morning has seen the dryness almost gone. i have been putting on all the stuff prescribed by the doctor and had umpteen appointments to get it sorted but nothing has been working and instead has slowly got worse. still very very early days but judging by today it looks promising |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
i have one dry hand (my left one), as the result of an operation I've had in an effort to try and sort my heart problem (it hasn't worked unfortunately). basically I now am unable to sweat down my left arm. so I use a moisturiser called aveeno, which is a neutral smelling one and is very good in my opinion, give it a try I would suggest if you're looking for an alternative....

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Just dropped off the family females at Manchester airport. Motorways empty there/back so despite having to wake up in the middle of the night ~I now have two weeks of the bog seat up. No nagging, no hysterical ranting. Peace in our time as no doors will be slammed in temper.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Walking to the bus stop at 7am at the end of my street a door opens and a teenager in her dressing gown and slippers runs squealing onto the drive where there's a little Fiat parked wrapped in a huge lilac bow. Her smiley parents were hiding in the porch to watch her delight.
I remember the wonderful independence that came with getting my first car.
