I'm just back from an 8.5miler, which was supposed to have 3 x 6:50 - 7:10 m/m in there. I managed 2 of them and a half-arsed 400metres of one at the end. Tough run.

gonna try the ibuprofen gel before next run i think, will go for a 4 miler to make a bit worthwhile.

doc didn't seem to think that i am injured as such but that the weird and uncomfortable shin feeling is due to swelling and that ibuprofen could stop the swelling. i will report back how it goes.

next stop physio and then new shoes i think. hoping that the physio might suggest suitable shoes to try.

yay, running is great

and i love this thread.

I never get dodgy nips if I wear a tight top - only loose tops or vests.

Made my justgiving site www.justgiving.com/kev-hall any thoughts/comments would be appreciated.
