I'm going as a spectator and photographer lol. As far as I'm aware spectators need to bring passports think that's all. And perhaps let the chap in charge know who he's expecting...otherwise seems fairly laid back.

What camera are you taking MYC? I could bring my Canon EOS 350D with 70-300mm lens (and the bog standard 18-55mm) if you're happy to be in charge of it for the day?

Everyone just seems to wander about in their boots. They might have a longer dinner break I'm not sure.

Oooh I'm giddy for you all And VERY EXCITED about riding my bike again after OVER A WEEK up to Ripon

You get 20 minutes per hour (unless the session is red flagged etc) so 40 minutes between session but it flies by as you tinker with the bike or watch the other sessions.. We got 5 sessions last time.

who wants to be famous? I'm bringin my new helmet camera & compact recorder should be here tomorrow all being well - can be mounted to helmet or the bike in a wide range of positions Hoping to get some rockin camera angles and edit it together into a more interesting video than the same POV all the way through type stuff

Oh and berlin is right andy, at cadwell the '40 minutes' wait felt more like 20 minutes as you got off your bike at the end of your session, stood there talking about how fast you went/where you went wrong, wondered round to watch the bikes on track, grabbed a drink, looked at some of the other bikes there, then suddenly you were called for your turn again..
