Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
We've just received an email from our UK HR Director stating.
We request that all members of staff take at least five days leave before the 31st March 2017. Any member of staff that hasn't taken at least two days leave between 2nd of Jan and the end of March must take annual leave on the 30th and 31st March... I think the response to that is bolt ya goon.... Speak to my terms and conditions.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Well just done my first ride of the year,110 miles of pure enjoyment, the more I ride it,the more I'm convinced the SV is the nicest bike ( not the best ) I've had in nearly 50 years of riding, got to admit the bar conversion does make suuuuuch a difference !!!

All the lovely Edinburgh accents, I'm up here just for a few hours. Off home now.

Editing the Soho Christmas party (which was only last week) photos in my lunch hour - so much silliness and lots of giggles...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
How the...I've done more than that in 3 days just out pleasure riding after work / at the weekend!
Side note, helped some lovely old lady move her car out of the middle of the road after her power steering failed. Had to really wrench the wheel to get the bleeding thing to turn, sat with her and chatted until AA arrived. Lovely lady, she was very thankful - left us both with a smile |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
My 19yo Impreza Turbo passed it's MOT. Big surprise because it has been misfiring for months despite replacing most of the fuel and electrical components. I expected it to fail on CO2 but they discovered an exhaust gasket had failed and the exhaust was blowing. Fixing that and putting Tesco 99 octane fuel in seems to have fixed the misfire.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Rain Rain Rain.... (sorry Timwilky!)
Timing is everything! Spent the day jet washing off the house (roughcast render) in preparation for painting. Being fully kitted up in one piece waterproofs and getting the full force of the blast back from the house straight in the face I hadn't even noticed it was pi55ing it down.... And the weekend/next week is forecast beautiful so should get it painted no problem. |
