Drinking orange juice overlooking the Sierra Carbrera mountains in southern Spain. The dream is becoming a reality... the house is ours!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
That made me laugh Red ones. I used to get a takeaway curry a few of times a year with a couple of the Essex cricketers. What I soon realised was that if one of them came with me to get it we got free beer and popadums while we waited. The staff, of Bangladeshi descent, were all huge cricket fans and while our dinner was prepared they wanted to get all the cricket news.
One evening instead of giving them a tip I gave them 8 tickets to the Bangladesh Test match. That was definitely a smile of the day for them, but they all got sunburnt at the match! I quite like Becks Blue. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I bought a Jacob's ladder from the farm shop butcher on Saturday. First night I marinated it in brown sugar, mustard powder, smoked paprika and Worcestershire sauce. Second day I slow cooked it for 9 hours with beef stock, tomatoes, herbs, parsnips and leeks. Let it cool today then skimmed off the fat and tore the meat from the bones and reheated it and served it with dauphinoise potatoes topped with gruyere. I am now too fat to move. Cost per portion? About £5. And absolutely delicious.

Debs finished the marathon (see Ladies in tight lycra post), she even helped another runner to finish too. Good on her!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I'm not sure yet if it's a smile of the day but I've just seen a work colleague getting ripped to pieces on Jeremy Kyle.
I suspect I have to see the guy tomorrow and somehow keep my gob shut. |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
The colleague told me to watch it.
It was on catch up and I skipped most of it. There was nothing else on. I've had a couple of beers. |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
It's more the fact you work with the kind of people that would make it onto Jeremy Kyle show worries me.
But at least you colleague has met the King Of The Gypsies.
