De La Soul announced as support for Gorillaz in Margate. That'll be great.

And tonight I've been on a a city of London cheese tour. It was rather yummy, included wine and I'm going home with quite a lot of cheese in my bag.

A few weeks ago I coordinated a really full on Sky Sports shoot and media day. This afternoon a huge bouquet arrived for me at work with a really lovely note.

I also got an email from a father in Dublin whose 11 year old daughter had been so badly bullied she'd been admitted to hospital with stress. When I found out she was coming to Lord's with her parents on Sunday I got the Ireland team to sign a personalised birthday card I had made and the lads also gave me a signed programme and cap for her. She loved it and her dad said it's cheered her up no end.

Default Smile of the day - What is yours?

The RAC.
A man took 20 minutes to get to me. Towed me to a garage via my house so I could empty stuff out of the car. Then he took me back home. Gave me a script to tell the garage and told me that if the problem is what he thinks them the bill should be about £200.

A very very nice man. I offered him a biscuit and a carrot but he refused. (it's all the food I had in the car and it was getting late).

And I'm reading a book on Five Star Service. It's full of examples and I'm wondering why LPH isn't in it!

Ha! Well today I introduced my colleague Heather to Mark Ramprakash. Heather got married last year and her chief bridesmaid loves Mark after Strictly so for Heather's wedding day I got Mark to record a congratulatory video for Heather and her groom and he gave her bridesmaid a name check along the lines of 'sorry I'm not there to have a dance with you' which made her year.

Today Heather got a chance to tell him face to face just how much fun it was to play that to her friends at her wedding.

If that had been Lewis the guide dog he'd have been delighted with both the biscuit and the carrot. He is however rubbish at car repairs.
