Re: The MTB thread
I went out on it today for a 5 mile ride on the road and it the book was good. Feels balanced, good seating position, gear ratios are good, feels light on the move & rolls well. Tomorrow it will be off road so see how it fairs in mucky uneven terrain!

Re: The MTB thread
Right up date on the bike after a 21 mile ride. Bike is perfectly good for me at this current stage of being an unfit amateur. The forks still need to bed in more but I had no trouble with it on uphill/downhill/twisty/muddy sections. It worked well on the blue red, parts of the red route and on the fast downhill sections.
As my fitness increases i'll be able to start pushing it more & see what its really like. |

Re: The MTB thread
It will be interesting to see how you get on with this DJ. Quite like the look of it myself. Going to the Outdoor/bike/dive show at the Excel next month so will be good to see what is about before taking the plunge.

Re: The MTB thread
Take plenty of money!
I'm thinking of going to that show too But on your way pop into Decathlon at Lakeside and see what they've got in your price range. There's an Evans store nearby, so you can see what they've got too.

I'm considering going too. I think one ticket only covers one event though so not sure yet as I'd like to see both. Some good deals can be had there |
