Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Wouldn't be without one Mav. Every house I've lived in over the last 30 years in Wales has had one. I love that wave of warm air you get when you walk into the kitchen from outside on a winter's day. And the kettle is always hot, ready for a cuppa!

Smile of the day - What is yours?
The cheese I bought was yummy.
And after a year of no proper heating where saying 'I'm cold every day until the silly little portable heater takes the chill off' hit me nowhere I came up with a new idea. I bought a timer for the heater then emailed the Health and Safety manager and Estates manager and told them that the heater gives off a tiny spark as it comes on and the timer says not to be used for heaters. They are moving some of the gas pipes this week... so if Lord's goes boom at 7am I'm taking no responsibility. Within an hour Mr H&S had kicked off big time about minimum working temperatures and electrical/gas safety and bingo, they'd fixed my radiator. Sometimes H&S is actually of use!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
an utterly superb game of T20 cricket that has just been played by south Africa and west indies. over 460 runs in less than 40 overs. an utterly incredible display of batting from both sides, but especially from chris gayle (WI) and faff du plesis (SA).

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Sundays.
A lie in. A windy, blowy, wild, 4 mile walk with my gorgous wife and the dog. The kids making their own lunch. Playing Skylanders in my den (7 foot screen and 1080p projector) with my ten year old son. Having a relaxed afternoon with a few beers reading Good Omens again. Cooking a brilliant shepherds pie and sharing it with my beautiful family. Countryfile on the telly. Glass of cool, white wine. A good day. Pete

No it's not. A T20 was a Suzuki 250cc two stroke twin first manufactured in 1965.
