I got my 2 rolls back today. Thankfully, the 4 x-ray doses from the hand baggage machine didn't do any damage. I've bunged the lot on Google photos.
These are the HP5 on the Olympus Trip. Some OK; some not so good but generally I'm pleased with them. All on the auto setting except for the night and inside shots where I just turned it to f2.8 and let it go at that.

I know what you mean (see below) Was it the Tamron 22A??

Here are the ones I took in China with the OM10 and the Tamron 35-135 22A. Mostly of the Leshan Buddha but a few others. I'm pretty impressed with the sharpness and range of that Tamron overall. I might have to get one for myself but I doubt I'll find another for £15.
The night shots at the end all taken with the same combo using Fuji 400. I gave up with the metering and just fired them all off at 1/30 with the lens wide open at 3.5 - hand held too - and a couple came out surprisingly well.

It was the 22A. I got mine for £15 from Rocky Cameras when he had a sale on. You have some good shots there Yoko, I like the way the film add to the oldy world look of the place. I like the black and white bridge with the reflections. Hey, you could enter it in the photo comp.

Thanks. I like the black and white effect too. It gives an interesting effect in some situations. I got to the stage where I was playing around with the phone, taking a colour shot, applying the b&w filter and seeing which was best before deciding which film camera to use. Geeky or what.
I like the bridge one too .. but I already put a different bridge in for the comp.
I think I'll have to experiment a bit more with the night tripping as well.

That is a neat idea, saves wasting a shot of film. Might have to try that myself. Been shooting with the Bessa and just realised it is loaded with HP5+. Didn't realise you had left the 22A in China.

It looks like one from the shape at the front but hard to be sure. I'll keep my eye out for a cheap one. I remember you saying that film camera prices had gone up. Flicking through ebay, I can see that now.

Just looked at mine and it should say 22a where the aperture range is. The one I posted doesn't say. I popped into one shop and he had £40 on a ME Super with a busted winder and a no name lens. How about no. Also Cameraworld has started selling film cameras again as they are trendy again. Hoping Film Ferrania will come out with 126 and 127 film. They have just reopened their factory and are doing slide film again.

Surfing around looking at lenses. Rocky have another sale on - 40% of everything. Lots of Adaptalls but the model number isn't given, which is a shame as there are different versions of most lenses, some better than others.
