go through to feedback as a seller as well and view the bid histories. I reported the latest sale as well so hopefully it'll catch the eye of ebay. Am going to let it run now and see what happens if the fake bidder wins!

South coast, you mean Rocky? Actually just emailed him this evening, he has a range of Mamiya Six's and I could get one for £50 plus £5 postage, it's shiny but I've asked for more pictures. They have a plate in the back that is vital to the moving film focusing method, and can get lost. It focuses by moving the film plan not the lens so in effect unit focus, but simpler than trying to couple to a lens on folding struts. Not sure if I should mention it but until the 3rd his sale is now half price.

No, I just typed film camera in the search and left the postcode blank. Tempted by a few cameras but he doesn't use PayPal. Have you got a link for the Mamiya?

See the About page, second last paragraph. If I'm going to chance it, I'll ask, as I don't want to fly solo.

On Gumtree there are a load of featured/promoted ads at the top:

Yeah, those are the ones. Bet they are pretty pricey though. He accepts World Pay but that is about it. Nice looking camera that, I thought you were looking at the £399.99 one. Just been back through and looked at the sellers bid history for sold items. Clearly shill bidding going on there. Should be banned.

Wow! All that film would last me years.
Thanks for the lens tip. I'll keep an eye on it but I'm trying to resist buying anything else for a while

It will likely last me a while as well. Have bagged off the 2018 stuff so I make sure I get through the short stuff first.

Some belated Christmas presents from my wife:

A LomoKino, a handcranked 35mm movie camera

And a Lomography La Sardina Coyote Edition. Its engraved with a wild west theme.

So awesome! Also, the Envoy Wide Angle I spotted on eBay sold for £199!

Nice! Can't believe how much film you have. Still need to drop off my last one from the K2. Not heard anything from Rocky Cameras i.e. no extra photos; I asked if he could, and if he would honour the sale price in case of a delay, so no on both counts. Nearly finished the Contessa, set the rangefinder and I think the lens is collimated but need to finish off tomorrow then I could put a film in it. Could do with checking the meter again as to get the top off I had to remove the adjuster screw. You're supposed to use this to set the needle to the black dot (zero) on the presumption that the rest of the range will be right, but I'll check it against actual light via the Pocket Light Meter app. Am also trying to sweet talk the guy in Plymouth to post the Contessamatic he has for sale, meter may be dead, it's off Gumtree so I think he can't be bothered, but it's sort of calling to me. The dodgy ebay one ends 2.30am or so tonight, the shill bidder is the highest just now. What do you reckon, I'll be sent a second chance offer? SP was 4.99, I put on 10.17 or something like that, so I guess that would be the offer. Err.... no!

Extra Christmas presents. Brilliant.! They both look really cool.
It'll be interesting to see if anyone else bids on that dodgy camera - or how quickly it's re-listed if it doesn't sell.
