Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
A long walk around 2 Tree nature reserve on the Essex coast. Then the T20 on TV.
Baking Victoria Sponge for Mr LPH, banana loaf for colleagues, mincemeat chocolate brownies for Chris8886. Then dinner, slow cooked lamb shanks started yesterday with carrots and onion, rosemary, thyme and red wine. Served with sweet potato mash and kale and a glass of wine. This is what winter Sundays are all about.

What about.
The sun was out so I took the bike for its first sunny day run of 2015 postings?

You lucky lot, I've been at work all day!
Still, I've just finished watching the darts, which was great

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I loved the darts, it was great.
Even happier that Green Bay beat Dallas in the Playoffs. Despite the weather this has been a great weekend I've done nothing bar relax avoid the wind and rain, and best of all stay snuggled up in the house with my lovely wife...

YES!!! Green Bay has been my favorite American football team since the days of Bart Starr. Glad to see them advancing in the playoffs!!!

Did that last weekend(ish). Friday 2nd Jan was lovely down our way so I got out for over two hours looking round the clothing sales at a couple of dealers. Better deals to be had than at the Show so I may save some dosh for a new lid this time next year

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
my smile of the day is knowing I'm one of only a few non dignitary, or staff who do not work CERN to have been allowed down into the 27Km tunnel
and other places... like the cavern floor for the CMS detector with my Daughter. Still grinning from ear to ear

Did you get any photos of Higgs bosons?
Love the photos - industrial beauty. Rather like the synchrotron in Oxfordshire (but bigger and better) |
