Re: Vintage film cameras
To make way for a darkroom? The cigar cutter seems the easiest way to it. Cut then respool and tape down the end. Will check the 120 flange diameter and order a suitable cutter.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Alas no but as food is still the most important thing in my life, it'll be another kitchen. I've never grown out of being fed every 4 hours despite being in my mid 40s.I have considered the downstairs bog as it has no windows but does have a sink.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Has it got an extractor? Some of those chems can get a bit heady! Will scan the Lomokino film tomorrow. Can't find the 120 flange diameter online. I'm out at the mo and wanted to order the cutter.

Lol. So you won't have any problems with doing your own c41 then. Pass on the case.

Re: Vintage film cameras
First attempt using the Lomokino. Only got 19 usable frames as I cranked it too fast. Turned out a six second video. Each frame has to be selected and scanned.

I like the effect.
Your 80+ film supply will soon disappear once you start to shoot in technicolour though. |

Re: Vintage film cameras
I didn't have my monopod with me so it's a bit wobbly. Problem is colour is 2.50 a roll whereas I can dev b&w myself. How are you getting on with your new toy anyway?
Did you buy the camera from Rocky Johnny? Sent from the darkroom

Re: Vintage film cameras
Nope he never got back to me. Think he was trying to tempt me with the price rather than supply more pics of it.

Re: Vintage film cameras
The new toy is very nice to use but I'm still experimenting with basic settings. The menu, options and customisations are way too difficult for a simpleton like me at the moment. I think I will only come to understand it very slowly. I really like the EVF and that you can see how different focus points and light levels change the picture.
I was in York Poundland today; 2 full boxes of film so I replenished supplies.. |
