Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Scientific route taken and ive got brachial neuritis (sp?) in my shoulder pain has removed all sense of humour i may have had and the fact i can't take decent pain killers because of other medication makes G a proper miserable pain filled ****

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
I am going through all sorts of problem with pain in my right hand.
shooting pains in fingers, wrist hurts, slightest knock on the base of the thumb is agony. GP, refers me to Orthopaedics. Referral centre send me instead to a physio. He decides the problem is my neck, organizes an MRI and tells me I have a trapped nerve causing it all. Jobs for the boys and refers me for physio on my neck. In the meantime I do get an appointment with an orthopeadics consultant. He says my condition is complex and organises nerve conductivity tests, x rays and ultrasound exams. Nerve conductivity test show evidence of carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands, ultrasounds show swelling in the joints. Blood tests show no Rheumatoid markers. Injections into the carpal tunnel helped some of the issues with my ring/little fingers for a few weeks but pain returned. I now also have appointments booked at the rheumatoid clinic despite the absence of markers (4 month wait) dreading winter. I wear splints on my wrists at night and when pain is bad. Not fun getting old.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Bought a Sena SMH5 dual kit, one of the units has keeled over after 4 months so I have to send both units, mics and speakers back in the original box for a warranty repair. Why can I not just send the faulty unit back as I use my working unit most days?

Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Cyclists on the M4.
This is the M4 in NSW but it still doesn't seem appropriate. |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Tim,
I had similar sitting pains in my arms and tingling fingers. CTS diagnosed via nerve conduction tests. Surgery on my left pretty much sorted it! It was done as a day patient job. Might be with mentioning? Pete
