Trapped inside for the weekend.
No ice here for a while yet but Fall has arrived.
Gone are the warm temps and dry weather.
Been cold and raining 5 of the last 7 days.

Monday morning teenager grumpiness, nearly shattered the car side door window it was shut with such fervor as I dropped it off at school this morning.

It gets better when they sod off to uni and realise just how much you do for them and how much they miss it. Plus if they're like me they will enjoy the freedom so much once they adapt (ie grow up) they won't come back! Plus plus our house has been SO peaceful for the last couple of weeks without the moodiness and arguments it's been bliss.

Default Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Not having a thing to wear!

Ok maybe I do but I tried on 7 of my evening dresses last night for a black tie do I'm going to tomorrow and don't like any of them any more.

But I hate clothes shopping so can't be ar$€d to go frock hunting tomorrow.

And the do is at Tobacco Dock, Wapping. Starts 6pm and finishes at 3.30am! So the only way to get there and back is to drive. No champagne for me. And this time I'll be doing 28mph not 38mph through Limehouse Link as last time that cost me £100 and a speed awareness course.

Anyway, being in a room with hundreds of drunk cricketers all dressed like penguins dancing badly is of course going to be my smile of the day at some point.
