Re: The All New Megathread
Moto Junkies guided tour for a group of six great people over two days completed. Out from Welshpool up to N. Wales where we stayed overnight on the Saturday, and then back to Welshpool via a different route on Sunday.
Fantastic weekend on all counts. Weather was spot on both days, the people in the group were a lovely bunch, hotel was very welcoming and comfy, and the Royal Enfield was huge fun to ride. Absolutely knackered now though. Went to bed at 10pm last night and slept solidly for 9 hours! |

Re: The All New Megathread
Glad it went well for you Gary. Hope the traffic was better than the chaos I drove through to go see my parents for the first time in six months on Saturday - bad idea to head out on the first really nice day this year over a weekend at the start of both a Bank Holiday weekend and half term.

Barmouth looked like something from Dantes Inferno so we didn't stop there! Bala was just as bad on the Sunday, but we went to the Leisure Centre cafe for lunch, as there was a lot more room there. |

Re: The All New Megathread
It was very warm on the Sunday Dave, although as we got back towards Bala there was a slightly cooler breeze.
Got my next tour on 21/22/23 July. I shall have to get out and recce some routes! |

Re: The All New Megathread
Nice one, Gary - sounds great.
I got to Criccieth on Sunday, and it was heaving there too. It was one of those rare days on the Llyn peninsula where there were no clouds on any of the surrounding hills at all. Went back via Llanberis and Betws-y-Coed, and the queues of traffic in both places were horrendous .... not a problem on the bike, obv. |
