Let's be honest. Almost all food in the UK is better than American food because of all of the preservatives added and also because milk is pasturized differently.

You miss out on so much good food, due to your food safety laws.

My American cycling buddy eats as much French cheese when we've been cycling in France, as he can't get it in the US, because of import bans on this type of food stuff.

Often it's not due to food safety, but political & economic decisions.

Wait 6 months for a rheumatoid specialist consultation, yippee it is on Thursday morning and I go back to the orthopedic specialist in the afternoon who referred me.

Oh no, not again. Postponed for another 2 weeks. So the afternoon with the orthopedic surgeon is going to be a complete waste of time. talk about left and right hands not knowing what they are doing. Bloody NHS commissioning is run to reduce expenditure not fix first time and in turn reduce ongoing expenditure.
