Re: Vintage film cameras
No joy yet. I did try to rotate the winder gear but still jammed. Will keep playing with it. I wonder if it completes it cycle it will make a connection and allow the capacitor to charge properly.

Re: Vintage film cameras
Picked up a cigar cutter while in town today to cut 120 to 127 width. Tested it out on an empty 120 spool and paper and it works a treat.

Re: Vintage film cameras
I'd offer to get the stuff but I'm going back to Spain this week and things are as nuts as ever at the moment. It's probably an hour and a quarter or maybe half from here, not really close to anything. I did spot that the Praktica (I think) in Ipswich is back on Gumtree for a tenner, think it has been reduced? Can't remember.

Re: Vintage film cameras
TBH I don't really need it since I have the BX 20. I'm trying to use what I have plus trying to figure out how to feed my 127 camera collection.
Will you be taking any cameras with you?

Re: Vintage film cameras
The GAS has taken you! Get the missus to tie you to the mast and stop her ears with wax!
It's a reference to The Odyssey BTW! |

Re: Vintage film cameras
She was with me when I bought it. Anyway, she bought me a camera and the Lomokino for Christmas! She has bought all but one of my Lomography cameras. Tempted by Heorot's Arette. Have seen a book called camera crazy by buzz poole. I also picked up a book called lofi fun by Adam Brockenhurst.
