Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Guys,
Changing the subject slightly, I'm looking for a top yoke nut with a hole or open top so I can use a ram mount dead centre (no room to fit what I have on the clip ons) I've been to GB Motorcycle breakers (Cawston) and J B Motorsports (Reepham) and found nothing, only 1mm thread stuff... I begrudge paying silly money for a nut (~£20 quote for genuine Suzuki or £12 for pro-bolt anodised),, especially as I may well put some riser bars (topyoke kit) on it later down the line once I've done some good miles this year and will ram mount on the bars then anyway. Any ideas? I think the nut needs to be M24 (32mm external) with a 1.5mm thread right? Any other places you know of worth trying? I can't believe I can't even find a used gsx-r nut as I think they fit too. I am wondering whether I should just center punch the one I have and drill it...I just don't like the idea of doing it! I may have a manky GSXR one somewhere, I'll have a look.
It'll enhance the look of your Pointy

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
Yeah cause double posts get double the attention lol....no, my internet connection was being sh1te so I whacked the submit button again (I should know better....too much riding today has made me a little impatient)
Manky is fine, would make it look more like a curvy too right? I take it back, Curvies are good too...they're all SVs with that lovely forgiving engine. So long as it fits and I can mount a ram ball onto the thing I'd be very grateful. I need a tomtom, using my phones android navigation which needs a network signal and can only be listened to is driving me up the wall. Last edited by kaivalagi; 18-01-11 at 05:43 PM. |

Re: 'Ere 'ere is the EAR Megathread
thats what i'm thinking if i was in that situation i'd just want to get back on 2 wheels. It'd be cheaper to buy/insure and run. And she gets to polish our helmets on the rideouts i bet reeder can't wait for that little treat
