I have plenty of team kit. It was whole matching Pinnarello and Sky outfit, even down to Sky socks, coupled with a complete lack of ability to go up hill that had me chuckling. Fair play to him at least he was out there cycling

Yes, so do I.

But its always a bit obscure stuff, not high profile stuff like Sky kit.

Closest I came to mainstream stuff was wearing Banesto stuff when Indurain was king.

The only modern jersey I have is a LiquiGas one that I got in a Wiggle sale a couple of year back. The rest is all 90's stuff.

The PDM and Panasonic jerseys have gone as they didnt fit me. I have the other more blue version of the Mercatone Uno kit as well now.

I'd seen this pic before Fizz, I had the blue Mercatone Uno kit, but sold that a while ago. I also had the PDM & Panasonic jersey's you have. I can't remember if I had a white Carerra jersey, but I've still got a blue windproof jacket in the denim Carerra colours.

I'll dig mine out for a pic

Mike, the gale force winds have arrived here today, I'm not going out until the afternoon, when the winds are meant to drop, as things like dustbins are flying around here

Fences and walls blown down on our development... nice.
Fortunately Thursday is a motorcycle commute (football in the evening) but I'm not looking forward to riding in this tomorrow. Oh and I think I need to sort out my riding gear, its not too bad in a morning despite the wind breaker acting like a huge air brake. On the way home though, the climbs are bigger and the legs are tired so the wind breaker needs to go.

Welcome to the dark side Owenski. Like bikes, the right amount of kit is always N + 1, where N is the amount you have now.

Loving the Z team kit. that was the era I first started watching cycling. Lemond's third win is really the first tour I remember.

Aldi and Lidl are your friend when it comes to cycling kit usually their shorts are poor though, dhb from Wiggle are good value.

Yeah I've been presented with the "rules" on the velominati site by a co-worker.

Haha that's great!

Hoping you guys on here can help out btw - got some SKS mud guards for my Trek 1.2 and only tried fitting them very quickly but it seemed like the bolts provided were too large to fit in the mounting points at the bottom of the forks. Felt a bit like it wanted to cross-thread so though I'd best ask before ploughing ahead and ruining my forks!

Can anyone shed any light?

Cheers!
