Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Oh I'm not saying it's right, what I was saying s that Chris is taking stupid risks by banging on people's windows. People are generally resentful enough of motorcyclists as it is without having fingers wagged at them. As one of the most vulnerable road users already why further antagonize drivers to the point where one of them will most likely ram your bike at the next set of lights or just push you off?

Last time I did some MIG welding I realised I was going to need a new gas bottle very soon. Got annual invoice from BOC for bottle rental today with a voucher for a completely free refill, result!

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I'm working at a new school getting built and the swimming pool is being commissioned. With it being a building site the pool was obviously filthy. I was wondering how they were going to clean all the dust and debris that had settled on the bottom.
I went in today and this little thing was driving around and the pool was spotless! When it gets to the edge it even climbs up the walls and cleans them. So cool to watch, until the boss came in |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
On behalf of Lady Poppy.
She was meant to be going to see her dad up in Shrewsbury this weekend but the Met Office long range forecast was bad so she went last weekend insted. Her dad and sister thought she was mad but as they're now under a hefty covering of snow, and it's coming down heavily here as well, it's one-nil to Her Ladyship. Just got to find the snow shovel now...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Thankfully she has her own folding shovel in the car at all times (her idea, not mine). As we've not had use for a snow shovel for about three years mine is buried in the garage under stuff I have "tidied". Unfortunately.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Taking my girls sledging for the first time. This is first snow worth mentioning since my girls have been big enough to do more than roll around and fall over. Whilst out in the numpty verse this morning I picked up a couple of cheap sledges. If the school is shut tomorrow (looking likely) I get to spend another day stood in the cold watching them have fun. Still I wouldn't have it any other way.
