What is wrong now? Has your insurance company increased your premium?

Well I got a letter from my insurers telling me that as they had not recovered losses from my accident in Sept '07 I am going to have to pay for the bike hire that I had for 3 months (a sum of £900). When I phoned the bike hire people they have already been paid by the other parties insurer as they admitted liability. My insurance company are saying they have not paid them and that I was to blame for the accident.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

Lets hope it is just an admin error then, F'in w*n*ers. For such large companies, they seem completely incapable of professional conduct or decent customer service. Who are you with?

The morons that I (stupidly) renewed my policy with are MCE.

Unless you're insurance actually want the money from you, I'd keep quiet seeing as the hire company have already been paid for it.

either way, your ins co seem like bunch of numpty muppets....

(btw, I've been to the pub, so don't take any advice from me right now)

All sorted now. Phew. Just some stupid call centre type person screwing things up. They actually phoned me to tell me she got it all wrong. Quite a relief!! So it wasn't my fault at all and the other part admitted full liability on the day of the accident. It still boggles me why it took well over a year to solve!

And I received a £2k cheque for my injuries.........

Now I can pay my bills........

I was insured with Bennetts at the time of the accident but am now thankfully with Carole Nash who seem a lot better.
