Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
My smile of the day came at my own expense. Out hunting down a geocache I lost an argument with gravity and slid 10 feet on me ****. Nothing damaged except my pride and luckily nobody else was about in that part of the woods. Thankfully I found the cache afterwards or this would have been in the other thread.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Said our goodbyes to my mum today, **** weather for the funeral, but on the way home, the sun came out and there was a double rainbow which was a nice end to the day.
Managed to have a bit of a reconciliation with my eldest sister who stopped talking to me, my sister and my brother, when my dad passed away in 2011, as she turned up to the funeral. It wasn't easy, and it won't ever be the same as before, but I can't be doing with family fueds. Maybe the rainbows were a sign.

Silver linings Mav, good can come from sad situations and events sometimes.

Misjudging a situation on the way home. Never knew I could brake that hard. Still can't believe I never made contact or how I stayed up with the front slipping out like it did. Really glad to be sat here watching kids TV with my son. Could have been a way different evening. Enjoy the small things.

Lovely to see the ladies from the care home attend the funeral, shows how much they cared for my mum, not just doing their jobs.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
I've just booked a dirty weekend away in a pub in Cerne Abbas with an old friend. Now I'm single I can do what I like!
(By dirty I mean we're going hill walking in the muddy countryside, the only naked man I'll see is the Cerne Abbas giant) Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Apparently the giant has heard you are single. He appears to already be excited at the prospects of said visit. Hope you have a wonderful time.
